Tissues are located within the body's skin. Tissues cover all areas of our body.
Tissue are 4 types:
1) Epithelial tissue
expl- skin, mucous membrane.
2) Connective tissue
expl- blood, bones.
3)Muscular tissue
expl- deltoid, gluteus muscle.
4) Nervous tissue
expl- brain, spinal cord.
1) Epithelial tissue
This tissue forms the covering over or inside the body. Skin, veins, arteries, lungs, liver, respiratory tract, stomach, etc. are made up of this tissue.
2) Connective tissue
This tissue connects one part of the body to another part or to different parts of the same part. Connective tissue binds cartilage to muscle, muscle to bone, and bone to bone.
3) Muscular tissue
Muscular tissue is a special type of tissue that has the ability to contract and expand. Many slender cells join together to form muscular tissue.
4) Nervous tissue
Nervous tissue consists of the brain, nerve cords, and nerves throughout the body. One type of nervous tissue that carries messages from the brain to the rest of the body is called the cranial nerve. Another type of nervous tissue that sends messages to the brain is called a sensory nerve.
